One Minute Oat Milk

This is unflavoured, unsweetened plain oat milk. Use whatever you like to make it yours. Dates for sweetness, vanilla extract for flavour, raw chocolate powder for a little health boost.

Ingredients  

  • 100 g oats
  • 800 ml water

Instructions 

  1. Combine the oats, water and 1/3 tsp salt in a tall jug and use a hand-blender to mix the oats until well blended.
  2. Pour into a cheese-cloth lined sieve placed above a large bowl and lift the cloth to strain the milk. Gently squeeze out the rest of the moisture. Then refrigerate until needed.
